["o\tALL GSE CONTENT/CHANNELS:\r\n\tCreate, edit, proofread and factcheck key messages and narratives, insuring consistent implementation through communication initiatives and channels that advances the mission of the school and adheres to the university brand\r\n\tDevelop student, faculty and alumni profiles and publish across communication channels\r\n\tIdentify and create weekly News Briefs summarizing impactful stories and share with multiple targeted audiences and constituents across digital channels\r\n\r\no\tWEB/SOCIAL CONTENT:\r\n\tCreate new content and maintain current web content across GSE sites as needed while collaborating with responsible parties to secure necessary information, review and approvals \r\n\tProvide counsel and guidance with the GSE message map in mind to partners creating draft content for web pages that live in the GSE web tree\r\n\tLead the social media tasks in identifying, editing and deploying appropriate content across all social channels GSE is engaged in \r\n\tStay current with social and digital trends\r\n\tAssist the Assistant Dean for Communications and Marketing in social/digital ad content creation and editing \r\n\r\no\tMAGAZINE\r\n\tDevelop story budget and content for bi-annual magazine targeted primarily at alumni, but also used as awareness piece for a large, more broad audience, including interfacing with freelance designers/editors/photographers to insure timeliness, quality and delivery\r\n\r\no\tMEDIA RELATIONS\r\n\tDevelop and maintain relationships with faculty engaged in research and community activities to identify newsworthy content appropriate for internal and external channels \r\n\tDevelop and manage new public relations/media outreach to increase the visibility and impact of the school's dean, faculty, students and alumni in the press while partnering with University Communications Media Relations team and GSE faculty\r\n\tShare news mentions with our internal audience and maintain an archive of news stories as they are placed\r\n\t\r\no\tSUPERVISION/MANAGEMENT\r\n\tOversee assigned full-time staff and Graduate Assistants and their tasks", "o\tWork in partnership with the Alumni Engagment Office and University Advancement in support of specific unit-based alumni and development communication needs\r\no\tWork in partnership with the Graduate School of Education Alumni Association (GSEAA) Board of Directors to facilitate the ongoing growth and development of GSEAA by attending key meetings acting in an advisory capacity\r\no\tAssist with the implementation of GSEAA special events to facilitate alumni involvement\r\no\tCreate, write and edit publications that promote the activities of GSEAA\r\no\tCreate queries and pulls/mangages alumni contact lists as needed for communication outreach\r\no\tCollaborate with the Office of Admission to create, implement and manage the Alumni Ambassador Program through direct outreach with our alumni and follow up as needed for events and further communication ", "o\tComplete special projects and serve on GSE and university committees as assigned"]
