Chief of Cardiology

Buffalo, New York ~ May 11, 2020

The University at Buffalo is recruiting for a Chief of a newly created Division of Pediatric Cardiology. The Chief will establish an academic cardiology program in the Department of Pediatrics and the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. The new Chief will immediately be able to recruit a junior faculty member. It is expected that this faculty complement will increase as clinical and research duties expand. In addition to providing clinical cardiology service, Division members will teach medical students, residents and fellows, as well as perform basic or clinical research. Resources have been committed to enable the candidate to create and maintain a strong pediatric cardiology program. The candidate will have access to the clinical research facilities and bench laboratories in the brand new state-of-the-art Global Vascular Institute. Support exists to establish a pediatric cardiology fellowship program as well.
