Assistant Director Facility Operations

["The incumbent will serve as project manager for facility projects and operations related to Student Unions space. The incumbent will be a key partner in implementation of student union outcomes from master plan. Duties and responsibilities cover a range including plan, develop, manage and implement maintenance schedules & requests; provide onsite oversight and management for all scheduled work in facility; communicating priorities and goals with building stakeholders and maintaining project documentation and timelines; work collaboratively with campus service providers and key stakeholders; manage equipment and space inventory.", "The incumbent will serve as primary IT contact for Student Unions space. Duties and responsibilities include day:day operations (direct building card access, AV replacement, security cameras, troubleshooting, and oversight of digital display) to being an active contributing participant in short and long term planning.", "Under guidance of the Director the incumbent is responsible for the administrative functions as they relate to Student Unions facility operations. Duties and responsibilities include develop and implement operational policies and procedures; oversight of club and organization annual space allocation process, planning and oversight of emergency planning initiatives; oversight of facility operations budget; assists with inventory control of assets. Will work directly with division purchasing and vendors to select best contractors and service providers. In addition incumbent is expected to research trends in Student Unions to assist in decision-making surrounding investment in public areas (furniture, flooring, carpeting, etc.)."]
