Preparation for the Interview

Preparation for the Interview

There are two points to keep in mind whenever preparing for an interview.

A.It is a competition, so the best person usually wins.
B.There is no such thing as an informal interview.

We generally only get approximately an hour to present ourselves in the best possible way. That hour could well be the beginning of a new career, so prepare well.

First Impressions Count

Always go to an interview wanting the job. Potential employers will remember enthusiasm.

Know the Questions

There are certain questions interviewers will always ask a job candidate. Here are some of the common ones:

How can you add value to this organization - what skills do you bring with you?
What differentiates you from other candidates?
Where would you like to be in five years time?
    What are your weaknesses?
